Abstract

Studies have shown that primiparous cows may require a higher level of crude protein (CP) prepartum than recommended by National Research Council (NRC) (1989). To evaluate the effect of prepartum dietary CP level on performance, 42 primiparous Holstein cows were utilized in a randomized complete block design.
