Recent research in the bovine relative to pathogenesis, epidemiology and prophylaxis in particular has challenged the validity of some of the conclusions about bovine salmonellosis derived from studies in other species. This presentation gives a brief overview of Bovine Salmonellosis with particular emphasis on those topics or concepts which have been or need to be further clarified.
