Abstract

A 12 to a 13 month calving interval should be the goal of dairymen and veterinary practitioners who want to
maximize both breeding and milk production efficiency. The objective of this presentation is to describe
specifically the normal physiology and involution of the
postpartum uterus in dairy cows.
