Abstract

Premilking hygiene is an essential component of effective milking programs. The objective of our work was to determine the effects of
various udder preparation and disinfectants (udder wash sanitizer and postmilking teat dips used as premilking disinfectants dip) on reducing bacterial populations, sediment, and iodine residue in milk.
