Abstract

My discussion with you is not going to be nearly as scholarly as Dr. Mehren's. I just want to share with you some of the impressions I have gleaned from overseas, mostly in short visits, in mostly less-developed countries. There are no great conclusions that I want to draw from this but I just merely would like to share with you some of the impressions I have. Possibly out of this we'll have some indications of the opportunities there are for people in the veterinary field for doing something to enhance world food production, particularly in the lesser developed countries.
