AVMA Drug Availability Committee

Abstract

For your information, the Drug Availability Committee is really an outgrowth of the activities of two of the councils of the AVMA, the Council of Veterinary Service and the Council on Biologic and Therapeutic Agents. Both of these groups were working in the area of concern for the availability of drugs to our profession. The Council of Biological and Therapeutic Agents because of their title deal with the drug problem in our profession and Council Veterinary Services because they felt that the lack of available drugs had an inhibiting factor on the quality of
veterinary service that they could offer.
