Advancing and recognizing beef sustainability in Canada: The role of the Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Beef

Abstract

The paper describes the Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Beef (CRSB)’s role in advancing and recognizing beef sustain­ability in Canada. It provides a brief overview of the organiza­tion’s three core pillars of work: 1) Sustainability Benchmark­ing; 2) Certification Framework; and 3) Sustainability Projects. The paper also highlights the sustainability performance of Canadian beef and how multi-stakeholder collaboration can support sustainability efforts and impacts.
