Abstract

Goats and sheep are extremely fertile animals! The ewe and doe have very high reproductive potential. However, it must be remembered that “sex is a luxury” metabolically speaking. The ewe or doe must be healthy and on a good plane of nutrition be­fore maximum fertility is attained.
