Abstract

The goal of the Veterinary Antimicrobial Decision Support (VADS) System is to support the veterinary profession in preserving the efficacy of antimicrobials for therapeutic use in animals and humans. Enabling the practicing veterinarian to efficiently access and utilize currently available information when making anti-microbial use decisions is a critical component in the judicious use of antimicrobials in food animals.
