Abstract

The Standardized Performance Analysis (SPA) methodology, guidelines, software, and education materials for beef cattle was developed out of an initiative of the National Cattlemen's Association (NCA) producers as part of the Integrated Resource Management (IRM) effort. The SPA committees involve producers and Extension specialists, primarily animal scientists, veterinarians, and agricultural economist.
