Abstract
At the Opening Ceremony on Monday evening, August 31, Dr. Harold E. Amstutz was awarded the Gustav Rosenberger Memorial Award.
The 1992 Pfizer Award was presented to Dr. Joe Brownlie, Compton, England. Dr. Julian Gee, Vice President, Products and Technical Services, Pfizer Animal Health introduced the award which consisted of a plaque and $10,000, the recipient being selected by the W AB Board of Directors and international specialist referees. The Award is presented every two years, for outstanding contribution to the advancement of knowledge on the origin and treatment of bovine diseases caused by microorganisms.
The AABP Amstutz-Williams Award reached international dimensions at the St. Paul Congress when it was presented to Prof. Dr. Matthew Stöber, Hannover, Germany who is undoubtedly one of Europe's most distinguished bovine clinicians.
