Recordkeeping, treatment protocol compliance, and measuring success

Abstract

The presentation will look at the entire process used to establish and maintain treatment protocols on a modern dairy. Discussion will include a process for developing new protocols, including dosage and duration of treatments, as well as withhold times. Also included in the discussion will be a means for recording all treatments correctly and consistently, as well as use of records to guide all remaining steps from retreatments to reevaluation to withhold times. The systems used are particularly suited to large modern dairy operations.
