Abstract

It details the quality assurance program covering drug and chemical residues in beef carcasses from The feedlot of Hitch Enterprises. The objecive is to ensure that all beef carcasses from the feedlots of Hitch Enterprises are within established tolerances set by FDA and EPA for pesticides, drugs, and other chemicals. This program will be operated by Hitch Enterprises and will be monitored by USDA through evaluation and review of data as well as by periodic sampling of carcasses at packing plants by FSIS.
