Abstract

Results of a study to confirm the accepted variation in individual cell count levels, and to observe the changes associated with diagnosed clinical mastitis are discussed with emphasis on the use of total udder milk data, somatic cell content, yield, lactose concn., as a mastitis management tool within a single herd, recorded over a period of time.
