Abstract

The clinical management of diarrhea in calves is discussed with some emphasis on the necessity for fluid therapy given both orally and parenterally. The feeding, care and clinical management of newborn calves bom and raised on the same farm or those purchased from many outside sources are discussed with the aim of reducing disease of the calf, especially enteric diseases, to a minimum.
