Abstract

A conference sponsored by the British Cattle Veterinary Association involved twenty-six speakers contributing over a three-day period, as well as a large poster display. The meeting was held at the Nottinghom School of Agriculture, Sutton Bonington, on April 13-15, 1981, and attracted just under a hundred veterinary surgeons to all or part of the meeting. The main topics covered were reproduction, computers, milk quality, breeding, practice laboratories and growth promoters as well as several clinical contributions. Credit for this comprehensive programme must go to Dr. David Weaver, B.C.V.A. Programme Secretary.
