Abstract

Over the past few years, the use of anti-inflammatory corticosteroids in Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD) of young cattle has been the subject of several updates, discussions and debates, stemming solely from the observations by Christie et. al. in which it appeared that the combination of oxytetracycline and dexamethasone produced less effective clinical results and led to more relapses than oxytetracycline alone. Therefore, we considered it important to check these statements under production conditions in France.
