Abstract

The paper is a case report on the use of a live lyophilized vaccine (Bioveta) against Trichophyton verrucosum on a 705-head dairy farm where 40 calves, 25 heifers and 110 young breeding animals showed clinical signs of ringworm infection. All young stock and the bulls were vaccinated and the lesions disappeared within 90 days from all affected stock and no new cases were detected.
